A bear’s world
”A bear’s world”. Acrylics on canvas, 92 x 61 cm, 2021. Price: 45 000 SEK This piece represents the future we’re currently creating for ourselves and our planet, unless we act differently. Nature has taken the modern world back to its’ wild state. The piece plays with the financial concept of a ”bear market”, and on the bottom of the lake you’ll find both the Nasdaq bell and the Wall street bull.
Portion size
”Portion size”. Acrylics on canvas, 100 x 100 x 3 cm, 2021. Price: 50 000 SEK The mother bear is exploring the wild with her bear cubs, looking for their next meal. However, there is no wild salmon in sight. Instead there is only farmed salmon, packed and ready for consumption. This piece highlights the artificial world we’re leaving behind for future generations, resulting in a new type of wilderness.
All that glitters is not gold
”All that glitters is not gold”. Acrylics on canvas, 60 x 60 cm, 2021. Price: 30 000 SEK The ravens are fighting over their latest plunder in the early morning fog. The raven may be a very intelligent bird. However, everything that glitters is not gold.

”Branch of fortune”. Acrylics on canvas, 46 x 38 cm, 2021. Price: 25 000 SEK If you invest your money wisely, sometimes it can feel like money does grow on trees. When it does, who is better to collect the rewards than the magpie. ”Branch of fortune” is a word play on the term bank branch.

A melting future
”A melting future”. Acrylics on canvas, 46 x 38 cm, 2021. Price: 25 000 SEK In this piece the fox is observing the northern lights, unaware that global warming is slowly melting the world around him.
2020
Domination
”Domination” . Acrylics on canvas, 100 x 100 cm, 2020. Price: 50 000 SEK – SOLD It’s a checkmate by the bull. The bear left in rage once he realised he was defeated, and is long gone. This piece is foretelling an increased optimism of the market and a rising economy, and is a word play on the financial terms ”bull market” vs. ”bear market”.
Black swan approaching
”Black swan approaching ”. Acrylics on canvas. 98 x 136 cm, 2020. #4 in the Corona series. SOLD In the spring of 2020, Covid-19 unexpectedly took the world by storm. One can almost say it appeared like a black swan, as shown in this piece. *Bronze award winner of the international juried art competition ”Amazing animals 2021”, Camelback Gallery.
Asian fusion
’”Bat soup ”. Acrylics on canvas. 46 x 38 cm, 2020. #1 in the Corona series.Price: 30 000 SEK A rumoured bowl of bat soup with global impact inspired this piece, here merged with the Swedish forest to portray how deeply the effects from Covid-19 has permeated every section of our society. Part 1 of the Corona series. * First prize winner of the international juried art competition ”How I remember 2020”, Art Show International.
Social distancing
”Social distancing ”. Acrylics on canvas. 90 x 40 cm, 2020. #2 in the Corona series. Price: 38 000 SEK As Covid-19 kept the world on pause, social distancing became the new normal. In this piece you will find classic Swedish birds like the great spotted woodpecker and the great tit, both with their face masks close by, when suddenly a bullfinch comes flying a bit too close surprising them.
Staycation
”Staycation ”. Acrylics on canvas. 70 x 108 cm, 2020. #3 in the Corona series. Price: 50 000 SEK ”Staycation” or ”hemester” is a piece inspired by the travel restrictions brought by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. In this piece you will see a pair of great crested grebes (skäggdoppingar) who are guarding their nest. These birds are migratory birds, flying south every winter. To the right in the picture you’ll find a ”flying prohibited” symbol etched in stone, meaning that this status is of a more permanent kind. Behind the stone sign you’ll find a bottle of hand sanitizer washed up among the reeds. To the left in the picture you’ll see an abandoned seagull (fiskmås) nest, and what has happened to the parents we can only imagine.

”A moment’s distraction ”. Acrylics on canvas. 60 x 80 cm, 2019. The insidious fox is waiting for the right moment to launch an attack. But what will happen? Who will be distracted? Will the unsuspecting forest mouse escape what is about to happen?

Moose hunting in morning fog
”Moose hunting in morning fog ”. Acrylics on canvas. 45 x 65 cm, 2018. SOLD It’s early morning during the first day of the moose hunting season. The fog is dense and the Norwegian elkhound has just passed a hunter keeping watch, and stops briefly to listen in on the surroundings before picking up the track.

”Swans in winter landscape ”. Acrylics on canvas. 50 x 60 cm, 2017. Price: 5 000 SEK This piece portrays the beautiful white swans as a contrast to the dark river, during a cold and cloudy winter day in Hälsingland.
Cows in moonlight
”Cows in moonlight ”. Acrylics on canvas. 55 x 46 cm, 2017. SOLD It’s early autumn, and the cows are still living outside for the summer graze. Despite that the darkness has fallen like a black veil over the landscape, the moon has briefly appeared behind the clouds reflecting light on the surroundings. This piece gives you calm and harmony, and tells you that life slowly continues also at night even though most of us are asleep.
